Salon Quote Comparison Worksheet

Craft Collective Salon Group · October 24, 2026

Use estimates you receive from salons to compare the same service over the same period. This worksheet calculates only the figures you enter; it does not supply salon prices or choose a provider. Your salon can confirm the actual service, quote and maintenance plan.

Choose one comparison period

Use the same period for both options, such as six months or a year. Enter the initial complete appointment once, then the expected number of follow-up visits during that period. Do not count the initial appointment again as a maintenance visit. If a required cost is unknown, leave it blank and ask the salon before treating the total as complete.

Enter nonnegative amounts in US dollars. Fields are optional; a missing cost is shown as unknown, not as a confirmed zero.

Option A
Option B

Enter the quotes and choose Compare to see the totals.

What belongs in the initial total?

Include the services you expect at the first visit: color or lightening, toning, any root blending, haircut and finish where required. For extensions, ask whether the initial quote includes the hair purchase, installation and blending cut. If a deposit is credited toward that quote, do not count it as an additional cost.

What belongs in maintenance?

Use the frequency and service recommended for your own hair. A smaller color refresh is different from repeating a full lightening service. Extension maintenance may include adjustment, replacement or removal at different points. If follow-up visits have different prices, put their combined amount in other required costs and enter zero for the repeated follow-up fields.

Keep optional expenses separate

Add optional products or gratuity only if you intend to compare them consistently. Confirm the current tipping policy of each salon. A lower worksheet total can reflect fewer included services or a different outcome, so read the notes beside the arithmetic.

Review the plan before reserving

Confirm the artist, appointment address, time, inclusions and current policies. The worksheet does not reserve an appointment. Inputs stay in this page; the worksheet has no save or submission service. Use Clear worksheet to start again.
