Our Bridal Styling Process
Step 1: The Consultation
We start with a conversation about your vision. Bring reference photos, information about your dress and veil, and any ideas you have been collecting. We will discuss what works for your hair type, face shape, and the formality of your event.
Step 2: The Trial Run
Every bridal client at Craft Collective gets a trial appointment. This is a full run-through of your wedding day style, done weeks before the big day. You will leave the trial knowing exactly what your hair will look like, and we will document the style so we can recreate it perfectly on the day.
Step 3: Wedding Day Styling
On your wedding day, your stylist arrives prepared with everything needed to recreate your trial look. We build in time for adjustments, touch-ups, and any last-minute changes. Many of our bridal clients also book styling for their bridesmaids, mothers, and other members of the wedding party.

Our most requested bridal styles include classic updos, soft romantic waves, half-up half-down styles, braided details, and modern sleek looks. We also specialize in bridal color services. Many brides come to us months before their wedding to perfect their balayage or hair color so it photographs beautifully on the day.
Planning Your Wedding Hair Timeline
We recommend contacting us 6 to 12 months before your wedding date to secure your booking. Trial appointments are typically scheduled 4 to 8 weeks before the wedding. If you want to do a color transformation before the wedding, plan for that process to begin 3 to 6 months in advance, especially for significant changes like going blonde.
